Busy, Busy, Busy!

This is Mrs. Haddock filling in for the absent Mr. Haddock. He has been super busy this past week+ trying to get everything on the race car ready to go to Pomona. And today is D day! He and Dondi are supposed to be leaving sometime this evening to head south to warm breezes and sunny beaches, aka Southern California.

Terry got his new chassis delivered last Sunday. A big thanks to Mike Stallings for arranging the truck that brought it here from Missouri in record time. Terry has previously been working diligently to get as much prepared before hand as possible, knowing he would be in a time crunch. I think he did pretty good considering that it is one, just him mostly working on the car, and two, he has still being working on customer vehicles to keep them all happy. Terry has also had Eric here helping out on things, which I know has been a big help. It's quite the trek for Eric to get here, so know that we appreciate it! I was out in the shop earlier and lo and behold there is what looks to be a funny car in there! A real one with a motor and everything. Terry says he is "getting close, but still has a lot to go". Dondi will be in at the airport around 4 and guess who gets to go fetch him? Me! And of course that has to be right about the time of kick off. Oh well.
